BBC journalist Mary Rhodes is the confirmed main host for this year's inaugural Being Well Festival.
Mary has been a journalist with the BBC for over 20 years, having worked on local radio before moving to London and joining the team at Five Live. Her love of sport led her to present and report for national BBC radio and television for over 10 years, covering events including the Olympics, Cricket World Cup and Wimbledon. She was one of the first faces on BBC News 24 and went on to present BBC Breakfast, One, Six and Ten o’clock News, as well as Radio 4’s flagship Today programme.
She is a keen cyclist and season ticket holder at West Brom, and is chair of the Breast Cancer Haven, West Midlands Development Committee.
The Being Well Festival, which takes place at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, on 24 October 2019 is a brand new wellness event promoting happier, healthier lives.
